Product description

tesa® 6930 is a two-layer laser markable film with a high-performance adhesive. The brittle product construction ensures that the label is destroyed upon any attempt of removing and tampering and leaves a visible trace (damage of information and label).
Marking and cutting are achieved by laser in one step, which makes it possible to realize any desirable label variation and format using only one material.

  • Marked irreversible by laser with excellent long-term legibility
  • Reliably withstand stresses over the long-term covering a wide range of applications
  • Manipulation leaves visible trace (damage on information and label)
  • Not removeable without destruction of the label to prevent re-using

Application Fields

Used as a tamper evident identification label over the entire lifetime of a product and also as a data carrier system for intelligent in-process steering

Laser marking ensures high flexibility and quick adaptation of format and contents, e.g. languages, sequential serial numbers
High contrast and marking precision support the realization of even the smallest letters, numbers and symbols, even 2D-bar codes (data matrix, QR codes) and ensures clear information appearance and easy and correct legibility by the human eye or scanning devices.
