The 3M™ 9448A Double Coated tape is perfect for easy handling of laminating and die-cutting. At only 0.15mm thick and coated in a medium-firm acrylic adhesive on both sides, the translucent 3M™ Tissue Tape is able to provide excellent stability and a clean look.
Thanks to the high tack acrylic adhesive, this 3M™ Double Coated tissue tape provides very good peel strength adhesion and is able to withstand high temperature fairly well whilst on different types of surfaces. This double-sided tape will be able to stay strong in temperatures up to 90°C. If used in extremely hot applications where the temperature might rise up to 150°C, the tape will lose its tackiness within minutes or hours.
This easy to use 3M™ 9448A double-coated tape can be used in a variety of ways. This tissue tape will do well when bonding nameplates, laminating or bonding plastic films, when bonding foam, and in any sort of project that requires splicing. But the capabilities of 3M™ 9448A do not end there! Due to its high tack and ability to bond well with various types of materials this tape can be used in joining, mounting, attaching, as well as affixing.
